CALL: Searching4opportunities Project for youth in Rwanda

Are you a youth and interested in ecology, sustainable use of resources and photography or videography? Then this post will be interesting for you!


Global Playground Stockholm is now accepting applications for Searching4opportunities Project.


Searching4opportunities is a project that aims to provide education in sustainability for a group of selected participants. You will learn about sustainable practices and topics from around the world. Recycling, food, transportation are among topics covered in course. After the participants complete the education, they are invited to conduct fieldwork which is an opportunity to find local changemakers and make stories, photos or videos about their innovations and initiatives. Selected works will be presented at the Festival in Kigali, Rwanda tentatively scheduled in November 2021.


By participating in the project you will get opportunity to:

* learn about worldwide ecological and sustainable practices

* get valuable experience by interacting with local changemakers

* receive a certificate after the project completion

N.B: Participation to this program is entirely voluntary however, expenses for fieldwork will be covered by Global Playground Stockholm and best works will be rewarded with prizes.

Interested participants are required to submit a motivation for your participation in the Project (max 300 words) before July 31st, 2021

Selected participants will be notified by August 4th, 2021
