The project #FreethewaterMoldova focuses on lack of drinkable water and good sanitation in Moldova through encouraging the civil society to take actions for their rights to clean drinkable water by using art.
We had two events in Chisinau. The day started with an artistic workshop where more than 30 people participated representing different NGOs, activists and everyone who was interested in participating.
The second event "water talk" was focusing on discussions on the problem, the role of NGOs and individuals as change makers. The day was finished with mingle. U don't need to do much, small changes can bring great impact.
The final event of our project “Free the Water: an Artistic Interpretation” in Stockholm started with presentation of the project and continued with presentation by Irina Makarchuk from Stockholm International Water Institute. Irina spoke about Global Water Trends, challenges, problems, reasons, SDGs related to water and water governance.
