Global Playground’s initiative to occupy public spacesstarted in the heart of Stockholm – in the Old City or Gamla Stan.
The old telephone booth was chosen as a place to create the first open libraryin the city. The place is in a comfortable reach for both local and tourists.
The main idea was not only to exchange books, but also establish new social connectionsbetween participants by organizing mingling events and parties.
This event had a big success among people who like books and has a life motto ‘sharing is caring’.
